To be considered for placement, a candidate needs to meet at least one of the
following criteria:

- Graduation from a top 15 law school;
- Previous work experience at another elite law firm;
- A distinguished record due to such things as a federal clerkship,
extraordinary law school grades, or law review experience;
- Work experience in patent litigation or patent prosecution.
